Yes and no Jul 12, 2011
By Danny I'm not sure how I feel about the Fisher F2. It is AMAZING for hunting Baseball parks and other land areas that are grassy so long as its not "Soupy" under the surface. But this detector simply will not cooperate in sandy beaches. I haven't the slightest clue why, but every time I head over to the shore my machine goes crazy and FisherLabs tells me that's normal. My grandfather who I go metal detecting with has the Garret ACE 250 and never, ever has that problem. Never gets false signals like the Fisher. If you want to detect the beaches, this isn't the machine for you. But for relic hunting, its an absolute BEAST.

Fisher F2 Apr 28, 2010
By J. Street The Fisher F2 is the best detector for the price. It does exactly what the description says it will do. Shipping was right on time as well. It even comes with batteries so you can use it straight out of the box. Great product.

Hard to beat Mar 07, 2011
By Rhody Joe Technology keeps advancing and prices keep coming down. This is an easy to use turn-on-and-go machine that even this experienced detectorist enjoys using. It'll find 95% percent of what the top of the line f75 will for $1000 less.

Nice May 17, 2011
By Steven Hill Shipping was fast and item is just as described. I'm very happy with the ease of use and very little learning curve. the pin pointer and small coil for only $15 more are so worth it. The only problem is that with the pin pointer the adjustment knob is on the front and if you probe too deep with it it gets mud clogged around the knob which is not easy to clean out but it works just fine. Over all I'm very happy with it.

Excellent! Oct 03, 2011
By W. Beaupre After much research I tried this unit and was very satisfied. Was using a "White" unit borrowed from neighbor, considered the best, and like this one better. Easy to use very light weight made well, I am very pleased with this choice.
